Maryam Kamara
Maryam Kamara is qualified to practice law in Ghana and a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors, Ghana and previously served on the Tax and Commercial Law Committee of the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on various Boards in the capacity as a Director and Company Secretary. Maryam has worked as an associate of a leading law firm in Ghana and as head legal and company secretary of a leading oil marketing company in Ghana, she has years of practice and experience in commercial law, employment law, Intellectual property law and Company Law. Her experience cuts across various sectors including Telecommunications, Financial services (Banking), the Aviation and Manufacturing industry amongst others. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Warwick University and an LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution from University of Ghana School of Law.
Ayisha Malik Kamara
Ayisha is a lawyer qualified to practice law in Ghana and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. She is well-versed in Military Law, Human and Gender Rights Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Security & Exchange law, Intellectual Property law, Corporate law, General Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ayisha also has experience in the Aviation and Solid Minerals industries. She equally has extensive international legal experience. Prior to Austen Legal Services, Ayisha worked in the legal department of Africa Services Committee in New York and later interned at the United Nations Headquarters, New York. She also worked on multiple consultancy projects in the West African Region. Ayisha holds an LLM from Columbia University in New York. Ayisha is multi-lingual; she speaks and writes with varying degrees of proficiency in French and Spanish.
Maria Abdul Kadir
Maria is a hardworking and self-driven with a 3year National Higher Diploma (HND) in Secretaryship and Management Studies. Being a Teacher at Graciey International School, Maria exhibited her organization skills, problem solving skills, adaptability which are all natural skills to her and developed communication skills. As a front desk Secretary at Laundry Haus, she is advanced in her communication skills as she interacts with customers. She has the tendency to pay attention to detail so customers’ clothes do not get mixed up. Maria joined Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA), Madina Branch as an assistant administrative assistant during her National Service. She then perfected in all her skills. She also developed excellent IT skills and interpersonal relationship skills. As an administrator at Austen Legal Consult, she assists in organizing office activities to manage multiple tasks and maintain efficient office systems. Maria being a natural at secrecy, maintains strict confidentiality in handling clients information and practices ethical behavior to maintain trust and professionalism and not forgetting that she once again shows adaptability.
Terry Ebo Baiden
Terry graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a degree in Land Economy, where he developed a strong foundation in sustainable land management and economic principles. Following his academic journey, he undertook a Project Management Professional Course at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), equipping himself with essential skills in project planning and execution. Currently, he is pursuing his LLB degree at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), further expanding his knowledge and expertise in law, which complements his interests in economics and management. Ebo is a valuable addition to the team, demonstrating a remarkable work ethic infused with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a consistently positive disposition towards his responsibilities. These qualities significantly contribute to the team’s achievement of its objectives and foster a collaborative and motivating environment.
